Hello!

Hi friends! Welcome to the new and improved saltwaterscripts.com, my website and personal blog. Like Sonja Morgan, we too got a little facelift during quarantine— and let me tell you, it feels SO good!

I started Saltwater Scripts as an artistic outlet after spending years creating home decor for my own apartment and my 6th grade English classroom. That summer, I went through a breakup, had some extra time on my hands, and decided to take on lettering as a new hobby (in between sunbathing and summer school). The first few lettering projects were dicey, but like anything—improvement comes with practice. I made greeting cards, small canvases, and spent a lot of time doodling during meetings. The following summer, my dear friend and talented chef, Meg Huylo, hired me to do menu lettering for an End of Summer Dinner party, and from there, Saltwater was born.

My work is inspired by the colors of the ocean, the hustle of NYC, strong women (hey ladieeees!) and love. Since I’ve started this small business, I’ve met so many wonderful clients that have made my dream become a reality. This journey has humbled me, inspired me, stretched me, and made me incredibly grateful to be surrounded by so much support and love.

So, thanks for stopping by! I’m so glad that you’re here & I can’t thank you enough for letting me share my artistic journey with you. Can’t wait to show you what else I’ve got.

xo,

e.
